This is a notebook and guide for learners of English as a second or overseas language, all over the earth. Most of the writings here are in Basic English, first designed by C. K. Ogden, using 850 necessary words and a number of international words only.

Who Is It Again?
20060429_137021.jpg This is the one seated in
 front of the British Hills
 office building.
 This person has a
 short growth of hair
 on the upper lip.
 So this is a man.
He has little hair on the
top of his head but has
 long hair on the back.
 He is in short
 bag-like trousers and
 pointed shoes.
He has a roll of paper in his
 left hand.

Now you may see who he is.
He is the most note[d] English writer of verse and plays.

Hey, I live in Fukushima, in Furudono-machi not too far from British Hills. Do you think this is a fun place to go?
| Sarah | 2006/05/01 3:08 PM |
This place is chiefly for language training. If you are a teacher looking for a place where you may go with your Japanese friends learning English, they will be happy.

If your purpose is amusement only, it will be highly dependent on your taste and values.

If you are looking for loud music, special effects, bright-colored signboards, you won't be happy at British Hills. It is no Disneyland.

If you are interested, on the other hand, in things old, quiet, or British, you may have a good time there.

The price, however, is not cheap. You will see more at their Web pages.
