The Important Book
 This is a book of
twelve short verses.

Every verse in it
has the same opening line:

"The important thing about. . . ."

I already put a
verse from the book,
on this daybook,
back on the 4th of September.
It was a verse on the sky.

The verse on the rain,
for example, goes like this:

"The important thing about rain is
that is is wet. . . ."

Now the verse on grass:

"The important thing
about grass is that it is green."

And snow:

"The important thing about
snow is that it is white."

The book has other verses, as well,
They are verses on an
insect which
gives sweet music,
a white flower,
a spoon,
an apple,
a shoe,
and you.

They are common,
everyday things.
And there is nothing new
about you.
The idea in the book
might be simple.
But they are the starting points
of feeling.

I will put here
the verse on a shoe:

The important thing about a shoe
is that you put your foot in it.
You walk in it,
and you take it off at night,
and it's warm when you take it off.
But the important thing about a shoe
is that you put your foot in it.

Complex ideas
are made of simple ones.
What seems unimportant,
first of all,
may be truly important.

SSS in Japan says that
