This is a notebook and guide for learners of English as a second or overseas language, all over the earth. Most of the writings here are in Basic English, first designed by C. K. Ogden, using 850 necessary words and a number of international words only.

My Twitter Notes from Yesterday
  • 08:16  Water gave death and destruction last week. Caused by that, a power plant without water has been in serious danger. But water gives comfort.
  • 11:23  Everyone is talking about the Tokyo firemen, or firefighters, gripping the hose and sending water to the great heating bottles in the plant.
  • 16:03  It's a cold and gray, early spring, day. Wind is strong. The air is white with dust. And we still have aftershocks; some of them are strong.
  • 16:32  I went to the nearby 7-Eleven. It was half open. The number of goods was limited to two for one family. Some shelves had nothing on them.
  • 17:00  Everyone in Fukushima is interested in science of radioactive substance. The outcome of test in every town is given in the news: all safe.
  • 18:09  Every hour, the outcomes of the radioactive tests from towns are aired, using units like "μSv" (microsievert) or "mSv" (minisievert) / hour.
  • 21:27  Farmers in Fukushima have fear that the news of radioactive milk and plants, even within the healthy range, might give damage to the market.
