This is a notebook and guide for learners of English as a second or overseas language, all over the earth. Most of the writings here are in Basic English, first designed by C. K. Ogden, using 850 necessary words and a number of international words only.

  • 12:08  Last night and this morning, I took time reading Walter Isaacson's book about Steve Jobs, about the man, Apple, NeXT, Pixar, iTunes & so on.
  • 15:01  I'm watching DVD of the old Disney motion picture 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.' Though more than seventy years old, she is beautiful.
  • 23:00  We've had a quiet Sunday. It's been a bit cold, as if we were back in April. My son and I went on two-wheelers to the nearby public library.
  • 23:04  I went, as well, to the nearby Tsutaya and gave back DVDs to them.

  • 17:00  I've been to Fukushima Seikei High School. Boys and girls gave good attention to my talk.
  • 18:50  The summer solstice, or the longest day of the year, is coming, very very slowly, to an end.
